Garden Birds lit with Pixapro/Godox PIKA/AD200

 The view from my studio today. Adult and fledgling blue tits from the nest box on the studio exterior wall.

 

Images photographed on a Canon #90D with 100-400mm ƒ/4.5-5.6 IS L zoom. Effective focal length 640mm with 1.6x crop factor. ISO 1600 to maintain a shutter speed around the 1/160sec with the aperture ƒ/8. Av -1. PIXAPRO #PIKA200 to boost saturation as wet and overcast flat light.

 

 

The flash was protected from the rain with a ziploc clear polythene bag. A green camoflage scrim net is hung inside my studio window to create a blind or hide.

 

Selected frames processed with DxO #pureRAW2 to remove noise, then tweeked with Adobe Camera Raw.
