Ade Parker over in my Facebook group, The LIGHT Side suggested to a fellow group member that using kitchen utensils such as collanders etc as cookies to break up light for a more interesting effect.
Here are few frames lit with an Ianiro LED Pocket Light FS-LED162 from namgrip.tv a AA COB LED torch/flashlight from a local supermarket, plus a few kitchen utensils.
The table-top set-up using simple and inexpensive gear. The pink rubber duck was the first object to hand. The white work area is a white foam core v-flat. The colour is provided by A4 sheets of craft paper.
White foam core fill card added to camera right to reduce shadow density.
Kitchen collander added between the
Ianiro LED Pocket Light FS-LED162 and duck. Another light is needed as the collander has reduced the amount of light reaching the subject.
